Coronavirus is on all our minds right now and health and safety concerns are critical. The well-being of our customers and staff is paramount and we wanted to update you on what is happening at Wood’s. Chaffee County is currently under Code Yellow as defined by the State of Colorado. Based on the Code Yellow and CCDH we have decided to remain open but are operating at 50% capacity and with an expanded cleaning and disinfecting regime. By now you know the drill from the CDC and WHO – wash your hands, use 60% alcohol hand sanitizer (we have lots of that!), cough and sneeze into your sleeve, etc. We also want to encourage everyone to use common sense and don’t venture out if you’re not feeling well or may have been exposed to the coronavirus. Please be patient with us if we reach capacity.
Further to that, we also want to share with you what other precautions we are taking in the distillery.
- We are regularly cleaning surfaces that are being touched such as door handles, countertops, tables, chairs and barstools, card readers, and keyboards.
- Our staff is required to frequently wash their hands and liberally use hand sanitizer.
- Continually monitor recommendations and guidelines from state and local authorities on best practices and implement changes as appropriate.
- And, of course, we have stressed the importance of employees staying at home if they are sick or have been exposed to someone who is sick.
The good news is that we sell bottles and cocktails to-go for home consumption. Thank you for your support through this unprecedented situation. Your patience and understanding is appreciated and keep your fingers crossed that we’ll have a vaccine soon. Stay well everyone.
